Radiant Cleaners is Nottingham’s life-changing cleaning company, creating meaningful and supportive jobs for people with major barriers to work.

For one of our employees, who had fled the conflict in Ukraine, that work brought him to the heart of Balfour Beatty’s Waterside Bridge project, cleaning the cabins at the site.

The partnership between Radiant Cleaners and Balfour Beatty created an amazing 1,000 hours of real Living Wage work, with access to in-work support and mentoring. Radiant Cleaners currently employs 28 cleaners, most of whom have experienced significant barriers to work, including homelessness, or experience of addiction or prison.

The Waterside Bridge was a major project for the city — the development created £6.7M in social value.

Speaking on BBC Radio Nottingham, Radiant Cleaners Head of Operations, Connie Pringle said, “we’ve been really excited to work on this project. It’s really significant for the local area and it’s really significant for our team members as well.”
